Was there a better forward in Ireland through the 80’s and 90’s. Linden actually made his final appearance for Down in 2003 having made his debut way back in 1982. He walked away from the intercounty scene with three Ulster titles, two All Irelands, one National League, and was footballer of the year in 1994.
