A mighty week in the Banner – Thank you

The Sportstalk 4codes Summer Camps moved to Clare and the home of Clare Camogie Fr McNamara Park a couple of weeks back as we looked forward to a week of Hurling, Ladies Football, Camoige and Football.

The standard had been set in Westmeath early in the summer as the behavior and attitude of the Lake County players was exemplary. The Clare camp didn’t disappoint, and we had a truly fantastic week with players a joy to work with. Even the small bit of rain didn’t dampen spirits and thanks to the top-class facilities opened to us by Clare camogie we had the perfect venue.

The point of our 4Codes Summer Camps is to try find a Cora Staunton in Kilkenny or a Henry Shefflin in Mayo, spreading the gospel of our fantastic games in our own way. Sportstalk staff and reporters are all heavily involved with coaching teams and understand the need for promotion at grassroots level as the competition with not just other sports but “Fortnite” is real.

We had a truly memorable week with a mighty bunch of boys and girls from The Banner and hope to see them again next year where new friends will be re-acquainted.

Thanks once again to Clare Camogie for their wonderful facilities and their kind generosity, to RK Sports who provide a super camp design, Andrew Fahy camp co-coordinator and all of our coaches and helpers.

Next up is our Tipperary Camp Aug 21st to Aug 24th – Book now on 4codes.sportstalk.ie
