D2 Semi Final Preview: Armagh underdogs to beat All Ireland Champions

Sportstalk.ie will be covering all 4 semi finals from Division 1 & 2 on Sunday through our twitter and website as we continue our dedication to promoting Ladies GAA. Now we understand technically the term Ladies GAA is incorrect but we also will be covering Camogie as well so to us its Ladies GAA.

All-Ireland Intermediate Champions Tipperary are on the quest for back to back promotions but first they have to get over Armagh in the Division 2 semi-final in Kinnegad on Sunday.

Tipperary were in fine form in Division 2 racking up big scores in a lot of their games. Their only loss came to Waterford in their last game which was a re-fixture and a place in the semi-final had already been secured.

Armagh suffered relegation from Division 1 last year so will be hoping to bounce back and gain promotion to the top division. They know they’ll have to work hard if they are to achieve that.

Both these sides met in the first game in Division 2 with Tipperary coming out on top by two points. No doubt Sunday’s game will be just as tight.

Three players to watch: Aisling McCarthy (Tipperary) | Aimee Mackin (Armagh) | Aishling Moloney (Tipperary)

Prediction: Tipperary
