The Camogie All Ireland weekend stirred up many talking points following and eventful All Ireland Final day at Croke Park. In the Junior All Ireland Westmeath overcame a strong Dublin side with a first half biltz of 1-8 without reply, Meath feel hard done by following referee Liz Dempsey’s premature blowing of the final whistle and Rena Buckley cementing her place in the GAA history books not only for her 18th All Ireland Medal but the unique feat of captaining Cork to glory in both codes.
