Hurling Championship Preview: Hard to look past Laois making it 2 from 2

Meath v Laois, Sunday, 3pm, Navan

Meath and Laois clash in Navan on Sunday in what has the makings of an exciting encounter, both sides will be going all to win as whoever wins will most likely be guaranteed a quarter spot against either Wexford or Offaly. Meath defeated Kerry last weekend by 3-20 to 2-17, while Laois got the better of Westmeath.

There are some talented on both teams and it should be a high scoring game. Meath will be able to call on Stephen Clynch, Adam Gannon and Sean Quigley who all in form at the minute, while Laois will look to Charles Dwyer, Stephen Maher and Ross King. Meath are priced at 5/2 outsiders, while Laois are 4/11 favourites. Laois to win for me.

Verdict: Laois by 5
