Louth were hot favourites for last seasons All Ireland final only to be blindsided by an outstanding Limerick performance to leave the wee county seething for twelve long months.
On Sunday they were also well fancied to take Fermanagh in the Junior All Ireland Final and this season made no mistake. Darren Bishop’s side were exceptional at the back allowing Kate Flood and Lauren Boyle time and space to perform their magic and boy did they take advantage.
Flood with alot of pressure on her shoulders coming into the game delivered an unstoppable first half display which wiped away the early stage nerves.
We caught up with the Australia bound star after an exceptional All Ireland Final performance.
