New incentives to qualify for a place on Team USA

Qualifying for a place on Team USA for the International King’s Cup has just become more convenient. In addition to the regularly scheduled qualifiers, the USGC now have, a unique format which allows players to qualify at their home course.
Each series event has a three-day window for golfers to play one round at their home course (or any course). Points are awarded to players in order of finish. During play there is a live leaderboard that shows in real-time how they are playing against golfers all over the country.
There are two chances to qualify with a Spring and Summer series. At the end of each series of events the top 50 golfers in the accumulated points standings qualify for the USGC King’s Cup National Championship. A total of 100 players from the points standings will be invited to the USGC King’s Cup National Championship.
The top points holder in each series will receive a free entry into the 2022 USGC King’s Cup National Championship to be held at The Hermitage, September 26th to 28th in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition, another free entry will be awarded to one player who will be picked at random from the 100 qualifiers.
At the National Championship teams compete in one of four flights in two Divisions (Open and Senior) to represent Team USA.
The International King’s Cup is a team match-play event played in honour of golf’s greatest ambassador – Mr. Arnold Palmer.
