The championship action gets underway on Thursday night with a relegation football final in Laois. After the dramatic ending last weekend Crosserlough take on Kingscourt Stars in the Cavan football final. In football new champions will be crowned in Galway, Limerick, Kildare and Offaly. While in hurling, Longford Slashers will hope to win their first Longford title since 2001 and there will be new champions in Louth. Also, the Cork county final is a throwback as the sleeping giant of Blackrock face off against their age old rivals of Glen Rovers.
