“Things have moved on incredibly in Camogie in the lasts 4 or 5 years” Paudie Murray

The days of just having two channels RTE 1 and RTE 2 are long gone of course.  We live in an age where competition for notice and center of attention is at it’s highest, an age where you can flick on the telly and view any sport from any country around the world in an instance. This weekend was a very important one for the Camogie Association as Semple Stadium hosted the first televised double header between Galway and Kilkenny at 5:30pm followed by Tipperary and reigning All Ireland champs Cork at 7:15pm.

We had some fantastic scenes afterwards as kids invaded the pitch to meet their stars and it was duly noted and appreciated by players and management we spoke to.
